How we’re giving back this Thanksgiving.

For many of us, food (and having enough of it) is something we take for granted. Thankfully, we are able to make the holidays a little brighter for the less fortunate and for those in our new home, the Bronx.

Today, we were be joined by Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz Jr. and local merchants at our 5th Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Donation Event where we gave away more than 500 turkeys to food-insecure families.

In addition to our Bronx turkey giveaway, we’re working with charities throughout all of the areas we serve, hosting a dozen other food donation events. These contributions are only made possible because of you, and for that we are truly thankful.

We know that there is so much more that we can do, and by shopping with us, you have helped us comfort thousands of underprivileged families over numerous Thanksgivings. It is our hope that together we will help many more in the years to come. We also know that when it comes to grocery shopping you have many choices, and we sincerely appreciate you choosing to shop with us.
