It’s time to be sneaky with your boxed macaroni and cheese.
Mac and cheese—it’s a tried and true favorite in our homes as it’s easy to make in small or large quantities and dense enough for hefty fall meals. But, did you know? You can also hide veggies as a perfect weeknight option for the kids, or dress it up to make it to make it feel more artisanal.
1. Above, we were inspired by classic artichoke dip and crafted a delicious mac and cheese with parmesan, artichokes, and spinach.
2. Birds Eye frozen vegetables cook up in a flash, so we tossed broccoli in the microwave and added them to this stovetop pasta dish. (Kids will love it!) Layering in an extra dose of real parmesan in addition to the provided cheese packet makes this dish taste ultra-fancy. Plus, everything can be made in one pot!
3. The other dishes we tested in our kitchen included adding Birds Eye Buffalo Cauliflower to classic cheddar mac with bacon—perfect for game day!
