Newsflash: It’s officially the summer of the beer cocktail. What’s a beer cocktail you might ask? Imagine your favorite drink with your favorite brew… plus a few splashes of your favorite liquor… and a few other special ingredients. All you need to know is that they are refreshing, easy to make, and perfect for those hot summer nights.

Dark and Stormy Cider
2 ounces hard cider (we like Shacksbury Dry English Cider)
2 ounces Goslings Rum
1/4 ounce lime juice
4 ounces ginger beer
What to Do:
Mix and serve over ice.
Wheat beer
Watermelon
What to Do:
Pour half of a chilled wheat beer into a tall glass. Cut and blend watermelon in a blender and strain juice into the beer. Stir. Garnish with a lime or mint and serve immediately.
Beergarita
2 ounces tequila
1 ounce lime juice
1 ounce agave
Mexican beer like Corona or Pacifico
Salt for rim
What to Do:
Use a fresh lime to wet the rim of a glass. Dip the glass into salt. Mix ingredients and serve over ice. For a blended version, blend ingredients with ice.
