What You’ll Need:
1 pound of FreshDirect pizza dough
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 cup of tater tots, fried or baked
Bacon*
Sausage*
3 large eggs
Tomatoes
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh minced chives
*Feel free to swap the meats with veggies like bell peppers and black olives!
What to Do:
Your frozen pizza dough will need to thaw overnight in the fridge. When ready to cook, let the pizza dough sit out at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 450°. Start preparing the rest of the ingredients: Cook up the tater tots, fry up the bacon and sausage, and start chopping any veggies. Once the pizza dough is ready, place 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil into a 12-inch cast-iron skillet. Add the dough and pat it into a disk shape with the palm of your hand. Use the remaining olive oil to coat the top of the pizza dough. Add the shredded mozzarella and top your pizza with bacon, tater tots, and your other favorite toppings.
Place the skillet over the stove on high heat and cook for about four minutes or until the bottom of the pizza is a light golden brown. Then, remove the pizza from the stove and crack the eggs onto the pizza. Season it with salt and pepper to taste. Place the skillet in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the egg whites have been cooked through.
Let it cool in the skillet before putting it onto a cutting board. Slice it up and enjoy!
