When the Passover Seder ceremony draws to a close and the feast is about to begin, charoset is the first item on the menu. It’s quick and easy to prepare, and the combination of tart and crunch never disappoints.
There are many variations for charoset ingredients — recipes can include any number of the following: dates, figs, apricots, almonds, chestnuts, pistachios, raisins — so we put our own twist on the dish by using pecans instead of the more traditional walnuts. And it was delicious!
Total Recipe Time: 5 minutes

What You’ll Need:
3 Gala or Fuji apples

1 tablespoon sugar
½ cup of grape juice
1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon

Charoset can also be served warm. To do this, simply add the ingredients to a pan and heat.
