Give this love toast to your sweetie—or yourself!—this Valentine’s Day.
What You’ll Need:
Salt and pepper
What to Do:
Prepare your bread by using a heart-shaped cookie cutter or knife to cut out a small heart in the middle of your bread. (Set aside and cook if you’d like it for dipping into your egg later!)
Place a skillet over medium heat and add butter. Add your slice of bread and toast on one side until golden brown. Flip.
Crack an egg and add to the center of the the toast. Cook until the bread is golden and the egg is cooked, with the yolk still slightly runny.
Serve with freshly-cracked pepper and salt, and top with your other favorite toppings like fresh chives.
