Racing Extinction isn’t just a film. It’s a wakeup call. It illuminates how our daily habits could cause more than half the world’s species to go extinct in the next 100 years—but also shows there is a lot we can all do to stop that from happening. We’re partnering with the film team to raise awareness on how we can help just by changing the way we eat.
For example, 90% of the world’s fisheries are fully fished or overfished. The seafood choices you enjoy for dinner tonight may not be around tomorrow. Overfishing, habitat destruction, and unsustainable bycatch practices are depleting marine life faster than can be replaced. However, there are many solutions to this problem, starting with choosing sustainable seafood.
Racing Extinction will change the way we see the world and is premiering in select theaters this week. The film has launched a dynamic campaign to provide solutions for issues surrounding climate change and extinction through diet as a primary driver of change.
Be a part of these solutions by starting with one thing—watch Racing Extinction in theaters in New York beginning September 18.
