What You’ll Need:
Watermelon
White cherries
Blueberries

What to Do:
Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to slice your watermelon. Remove the pits from the cherries.

On skewers, add white cherries, blueberries, and top with the watermelon stars.

If you’re planning a backyard BBQ, holiday picnic, or just need a patriotic dish to snack on this weekend, why not set it up in the shape of a flag? You’ll be so inspired that you won’t even ask your friends to stop saying the Pledge of Allegiance when they start snacking.

What to Do:
Slice your veggies into bite-size chunks. Lay them on a platter in the colors of the American Flag.

For the crudité, add tzatziki into a blue dish to emulate the white and blue stars.

“Through FreshDirect, I have learned that hard work really does pay off. Six years ago, I began as a route driver as a way to provide for my family and save for college. Throughout that time I have become a training specialist guiding incoming talent in the company. By recognizing employees for their excellence and the ability to pinpoint strengths and the way individuals can add to the organization, I know I can achieve my goal to develop coaching for our truck drivers and most importantly feel secure in my future.”
