We’re on your good sides in the new year. The kids will love this easy alternate to French fries: baked sweet potato fries with a cinnamon-y Greek yogurt dip. Just a couple minutes of prep and 15 minutes to crisp up and you’ve got a perfect pair for your dinner main. Check it out after the jump.
When it comes to dinner, you want things fast, tasty, and as wholesome as possible, right? This simple side uses baked-not-fried potatoes that we’ve already chopped up for you, creamy Greek yogurt, and a dash of cinnamon and maple syrup for added sweetness.
What You’ll Need:
What to Do:
Pre-heat your oven to 350°. While the oven is heating up, toss your sweet potato sticks in a light coating of olive oil with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. (If you like things extra sweet, add a little cinnamon to the mix here, too.) Spread your sticks out on a pan that is covered with aluminum foil or lightly coated with cooking spray.
Pop your sweet potatoes in the oven. While they’re cooking (keep an eye out—they brown fast), mix your Dannon Greek yogurt with a pinch of cinnamon and maple syrup to taste (you don’t need much!). Your oven-baked fries should be cooked through in about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
