Tater tots are great. Waffles are great. So one can assume that tater tot waffles are even better, right? Right! Follow the recipe after the cut for a fun new way to eat tots. Your waffle iron will appreciate the extra love.
What You’ll Need:
Frozen tater tots
Cooking spray
Eggs
Chives
Salt and pepper
Optional: sweet and savory toppings, like cheese, bacon, sausage, veggies, syrup, or cinnamon
What to Do:
Set out frozen tater tots until they become room temperature, and pre-heat your waffle iron. Coat both sides with a generous amount of coking spray so your tater tots don’t stick.
Place tater tots on the waffle iron until it’s completely covered. Close the iron and cook the tots for five minutes on each side.
When it’s ready, top with your favorite breakfast food like a fried egg, bacon, cheese, and more. (They’re even amazing with a drizzle of maple syrup on top.) Sprinkle with a bit of salt and pepper, top with chives, and enjoy!
