Candy corn. A Halloween classic. It has the power to transform your favorite desserts, and it’ll make any ol’ bowl a little more festive. Is there anything it can’t do? Get inspired with ways to use Halloween’s favorite candy after the jump.
-Spike homemade cupcakes with candy corn. We like using a dense chocolate cake with a creamy vanilla frosting. Once they’ve cooled and you’ve spread on your frosting, dunk them face down into a bowl of candy corn. Game changer.
-It’s never too cold for ice cream. Make a sundae bar with Blue Marble pumpkin ice cream and your favorite toppings (whipped cream, hot fudge, pretzel pieces, marshmallows, banana slices, walnuts, Reese’s Pieces for more black and orange); we used mini marshmallows, fudge, and a cone on top. Top generously with candy corn. Yum!
-Popcorn, marshmallows, candy corn, oh my! Try these candy corn popcorn balls — they’re to die for. Make this crunchy masterpiece at home and you are in for a sweet-and-salty explosion.
-These little guys make for a festive centerpiece. Fill a hallowed out pumpkin with your candy for your Halloween party. We guarantee they’ll be gone in no time.
-Candy corn bark. Melt some dark chocolate, top with candy corn and sea salt, and drizzle some light hot caramel sauce on top. This is one of our favorite ways to do up candy corn.
