Heat until it&#8217;s a thick, syrupy consistency.<\/p>\n<p>Once it cools, add half of the pumpkin syrup to a mug or beer mug. Top with 1-2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and cover with a bottle of beer. We used a local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freshdirect.com\/pdp.jsp?productId=beer_brooklyn_oct_sxbt&amp;catId=gro_beer_lag_red\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brooklyn Brewery Oktoberfest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or ground cinnamon.
