Mulled Wine With Scotch Recipe<\/h1>\n

What You\u2019ll Need<\/h3>\n

1 750-ml bottle red wine
\n2 oz. scotch
\n3 tablespoons honey
\n2 cinnamon sticks
\n3 cardamom pods
\n1\/2 teaspoon whole white peppercorns
\n2 whole cloves
\n2 star anise
\n1 blood orange, cut into rings
\n2-inch piece ginger, thinly sliced<\/p>\n

What To Do<\/h3>\n

Put all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a very gentle simmer over medium heat (do not boil). Let simmer for at least 10 minutes and up to 2 hours\u2014the longer it sits, the more fragrant it will be.<\/p>\n
