Salted Fudge Brownies<\/h1>\n

What you’ll need:<\/h3>\n

3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, roughly chopped\u2063\u2063
\n\u00bd cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, plus more for greasing
\n1\u2153 cups granulated sugar\u2063\u2063
\n2 large eggs\u2063\u2063
\n1 teaspoon vanilla extract\u2063\u2063
\n\u00bc teaspoon kosher salt\u2063\u2063
\n\u2154 cup all-purpose flour\u2063\u2063
\nFlaky sea salt, for sprinkling<\/p>\n

What to do:<\/h3>\n

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8 by 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper. Grease parchment with butter or nonstick cooking spray.\u2063\u2063

\nPlace a medium, heatproof bowl over a pan of water to create a double boiler. Bring water to a gentle simmer. Add chocolate and butter to bowl and let melt (it’s OK if there are a few unmelted bits left). Remove from heat and stir until completely smooth. Using a whisk, beat in sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and salt. Using a spatula, fold in flour.<\/p>\n

Scrape batter into the lined pan, spreading to even out. Bake 25\u201330 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.\u2063\u2063 Sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top immediately after removing from the oven.
