So good, this cheese is fit for a king... literally! Beemster holds an Appointment as Purveyor to the Royal Court of the Netherlands and in that spirit developed a very special line of cheeses, Royaal by Beemster. These cheeses are part of the selection served by the Royal Court. Aged 4 months. Creamy, smooth semi-firm texture with notes of sweet-milk & almonds. Pairings Food Pairing: Sweet soppressata, dates, figs, pears. Slice and serve with arugula, strawberries & drizzled with balsamic vinegar. Bev Pairing: Crisp citrusy beers (Hefeweizen, Pilsner). Light-bodied wines (Pinot Noir, Beaujolais, Pinot Gris/Grigio)
