One snowy Sunday Tom and I were in the bakery and no one was coming in because the snow was quickly piling up outside. A slow time like this has always been a time for thought and inspiration for creating a new pie. I kept thinking about how delicious some spaghetti and meatballs would be for dinner. It suddenly dawned on me that it would be scrumptious in a pie. Tom got to work on his "famous" meatballs, I started the tomato sauce. This is what we came up with. Nine savory meatballs line the bottom of our all- butter crust. Next, we ladle tomato sauce over the meatballs and layer fresh Jersey Girl mozzarella over the top and cover it with a top crust. That night we brought it home, took one bite and knew a new pie was born! We are a family owned bakery and farm located in Warwick, NY making award winning savory & sweet pies from scratch, by hand, every day. Voted best pie bakery in New York by Taste Of home Magazine. We go out of our way to source our ingredients as fresh and local as possible. Each one of our flavors come with their own story. Our whole family is in the business working to bring you the best tasting pies. Our recipes and baking techniques are influenced by owner Leslie Noble's grandmother Fowler who was born and raised in Texas. Our pies contain very low amounts of sugar, since we let the natural sugars from the sustainably grown fruit we source do most of that work.
