The name Ali means "wings" in Italian, and is also the name of winery owner Lia Tolaini-Banville's "little angel": her daughter. This wine is made from predominantly Sangiovese with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon for additional complexity. Lots of vibrant, ripe fruit on the nose with silky, integrated tannins and a pleasant finish. Delicious with pasta dishes and perfect for pizza night! (from the vintner)
