Silverado Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
2022, Cabernet Sauvignon 81%, Merlot 15%, Petit Verdot 4%, U.S.A.

In 1981, Ron and Diane Miller established Silverado Vineyards to begin making wines from the historic sites that comprised their estate. Their ranches were first planted to vineyards by Napa pioneers between 1865 and 1895. Each played an important role in establishing the reputation of their appellations. Beautiful fruit from these vineyards is the exclusive source of Silverado Vineyard's Estate and Single Vineyards wines — the Miller family's highest expression of the Napa Valley they love and admire. Silverado Estate Cabernet is a blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and 4% Petit Verdot from their Stags Leap and Mt. George vineyards. Grapes from the Stags Leap site provide bright fruit and ripeness while the Mt. George fruit rounds out the wine with depth and structure. This classic Cabernet Sauvignon has black cherry aromas and flavors of ripe plum with hints of licorice and spice on the finish. The balance and velvety texture make this an ideal wine for steaks, roasts and other fine meat dishes. (from the vintner)
