Gouleyant Cahors Malbec

The Gouleyant of Georges Vigouroux is mostly produced from the Malbec grapes that grow on the hills of Cahors. It is a rich red wine with subtle aromas and features black currant and dark cherry flavors, with hints of tobacco leaves. The flavors linger appealingly on the finish and in the nose, developing into aromas of ripe fruit. In the mouth, it's smooth, elegant and thirst quenching with beautiful body. Fleshy and well balanced, Gouleyant will pair best with duck, goose, lamb, and cheese. (from the vintner)
