The Ridolfi farm dates back centuries, the property of the historic Ridolfi family, nobles from Florence who had considerable land holdings in Montalcino. The wine has the classical Brunello signature flavors of cherry, violet, and spices, and a lingering balsamic finish. Pair with red meats and aged hard sheep and cow's milk cheese. (from the vintner)
