Vietti Nebbiolo Perbacco DOC

Vietti's famous Perbacco is a blend of Nebbiolo from their various Langhe vineyards. A big portion of the blend is made up of declassified lots of Nebbiolo from their Barolo and Barbaresco vineyards. With two years of aging in both barriques and Slavonian oak casks, this is forceful, elegant Nebbiolo. It offers up generous fruit along with menthol, spices and hard candy, showing notable intensity while retaining an essentially mid-weight style. Strong, intense and powerful when young, complex and elegant with the ageing. Enjoy with hearty stew, wild game, roasted red meats and sharp, aged cheeses. (from the vintner)
