Thierry et Pascale Matrot Bourgogne Chardonnay

The Matrot domaine is one of the oldest estate-bottlers in Burgundy and one of the largest and most important properties in Meursault. Thierry Matrot works towards the achievement of one major goal: to produce a wine that retains its elegance while maximizing both the fruit and the native tang of the soil. Matrot's vineyards are farmed organically. The grapes for this Chardonnay are picked near the appellation of Meursault. It is fruity, creamy and round with hints of toasted butter on the nose. This white wine can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to charcuterie, chicken and grilled fish. A great wine to enjoy with friends. (from the vintner)
