  • Where do the items in my order come from?
    We source directly from the farmers, fishermen, and ranchers who grow and make the food we offer, so we know it's good. It goes straight to our new, state-of-the-art facility, which is built for the optimal care of food. Our staff of expert butchers, bakers, produce specialists, and more, ensures you get food that's consistently at its best. So it goes from the field to your door in just a few days, meaning less handling by middlemen, more money for producers, and it arrives fresher to you.

  • Does FreshDirect sell beer?
    Beer is sold by FreshDirect Holdings, Inc. Store hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, located at 2 St Anns Ave, Bronx NY 10454. Grocery beer and wine product license number 1164662.
  • What is Chef's Table?
    Chef's Table is an exclusive program at FreshDirect that thanks and rewards our most loyal residential customers. Chef's Table members enjoy special savings and benefits that make shopping at FreshDirect even faster and easier: preferred delivery access, dedicated service specialists, exclusive discounts, and much more.
  • How do I join Chef's Table?
    Just place 12 orders or spend an average of $500 or more each calendar month during any 3-month period (excluding Gift Card purchases). We'll automatically enroll new members at the beginning of each month. You can view your progress toward Chef's Table membership at the Your Orders page in the Your Account section of our website.
  • How long will I remain a Chef's Table member?
    As a Chef's Table member, your account will be periodically evaluated to determine your eligibility. Members who do not order at least once during any given 4-month period are subject to removal from the program. In addition, you may also be removed from the program for failing to maintain the minimum order frequency or purchase total that's required for program eligibility. Before removing Chef's Table members from the program, FreshDirect will encourage an increase in order activity.
  • How does Reserve Delivery Time work?
    24 hours after you receive your first DeliveryPass order, you'll be granted exclusive access to our Reserve Delivery Time feature - you'll find it under the truck icon at the top of our site. You can reserve your regular standing weekly timeslot up to a week before or until two days before the delivery date. When you make a reservation, we'll let you know when you need to get your order in by - you'll need to complete the checkout process before it expires. If you don't, you'll risk losing your reservation, and it will be released if you don't use it for one week.
  • What is FreshDirect DeliveryPass and how does it work?
    A DeliveryPass subscription gives you unlimited free delivery, plus the ability to reserve a timeslot. That means you can order as often as you like and never pay a delivery fee. You'll also receive exclusive special offers and savings.

    Please note that DeliveryPass orders to seasonal zones such like the Hamptons and Jersey Shore may be subject to a surcharge.
  • Where does DeliveryPass work?
    DeliveryPass currently covers year-round residential delivery zones in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Seasonal delivery areas such as the Hamptons and Jersey Shore may be subject to a seasonal surcharge. DeliveryPass is not valid with business and corporate orders placed through FreshDirect At The Office.
  • Are express and business orders eligible for DeliveryPass?
    Express orders are covered by DeliveryPass. DeliveryPass is not valid with business and corporate orders placed through FreshDirect At The Office.
  • What happens when my DeliveryPass expires?
    With DeliveryPass auto-renewal, your membership will automatically renew at the end of your cycle. If you are signed up for the 60-day trial, you will automatically begin a 6-month subscription for $79. Your initial sign-up is an authorization for us to use the available payment methods, and we'll charge your last-used credit card.   • How can I check how much time is remaining on my DeliveryPass membership?

  • How do I opt out of DeliveryPass auto-renewal?
    You can opt out of auto-renewal at any time. To do so, click here. At the Membership Details page, select the "Click here to turn off renewal" link. If you turn off auto-renewal, you will keep your current membership until the end of its duration, at which point your membership will expire.
  • How can I refer friends and family?
    Click here to send a personalized invitation directly to your friends' email addresses, or use the Facebook and Twitter plug-ins to hit up your pals on social sites. It's what friends are for.
  • What will I get for referring friends and family?
    Let's talk moolah. Every time you refer an eligible friend or family member who places their first FreshDirect order using the invitation link you sent, you'll receive a credit. Cha-ching! The best part is that there's no limit to how many credits you can accumulate, so the more you refer, the more you make. Double cha-ching! All credits will automatically be added to your next order. Credits do not expire.
  • What do my friends and/or family members get when placing their first order via my referral?
    When you spread the love your family and friends will receive a credit (specified on https://www.freshdirect.com/your_account/refer_a_friend.jsp) for their first residential order. To activate the promotion, your referee must sign up using the invitation link you sent them through our tool. The promotion is applied automatically at checkout, but won't be activated if an order was delivered to the same address within the past six months.
