  • How do I change my password?

  • How do I choose what kind of alerts I receive?
    Visit Your Account Preferences while signed into your FreshDirect account and choose what kind of messages you'd like to receive.
  • How do I opt into and out of SMS text alerts?
    To opt into SMS alerts, visit Your Account Preferences while signed into your FreshDirect account. You'll be prompted to add your mobile phone number and choose which notifications you'd like to receive. A confirmation text message will be sent to that mobile number — just confirm your consent in the reply, and you're done!

    To opt out of SMS alerts, visit Your Account Preferences, delete your mobile number, uncheck all preferences previously selected, and click "Save."
  • How much does FreshDirect's SMS text alerts service cost?
    FreshDirect does not charge you to use this service. As a reminder, your mobile carrier's standard text messaging rates may apply.
  • I signed up online to receive SMS alerts, but I haven't responded to the confirmation text. Am I signed up to receive messages?
    No, not yet. In order to be opted in to SMS alerts, you must confirm your subscription by replying to the confirmation text sent after sign-up. Want to try again? Visit the Your Account Preferences section of your FreshDirect account.
  • If I reply "STOP" to cancel, will this cancel all SMS text notifications?
    Yes. Replying "STOP" will unsubscribe you from the SMS alerts, and you will no longer get texts from us. If you'd like to manage the messages you receive, visit Your Account Preferences while signed into your FreshDirect account.
  • If I sign up for SMS text alerts, how often will I be receiving messages?
    Frequency of messages depends on how often you place an order, and your chosen preferences. Generally, there wouldn't be more than five messages per order. For some neighborhoods, all of the order SMS messages have not yet been activated. It is possible you will only receive a message if we deliver your order to an alternate recipient, like your doorman.
  • What mobile carriers do you support?
    FreshDirect SMS is currently available on AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Cricket, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Appalachian, Chariton Valley, Duet, Element Mobile, Epic Touch, Hawkeye, Mobi PCS, MTA, Peoples Wireless, Pioneer, Plateau Wireless, RINA, SI Wireless, Simmetry, Sprocket Wireless, and United Wireless. Our SMS service may not be compatible with all cell phone models. In addition to these terms, your use of this service is bound by the FreshDirect full terms and conditions. Your mobile carrier's standard text messaging rates may apply.
