- Of course buttercream is very nice, but sometimes what we really crave is the tangy, sweet and creamy combination we get in a cream cheese frosting... particularly when it's slathered over a moist, rich, carrot cake. (And our baker mixes in golden raisins for an extra bit of class.) Is there a finer flavor combination? We're doubting it.
