In truth, dragon fruit have a mild tropical sweetness with notes of kiwi and watermelon. Dragon fruit flesh ranges in color from white to deep magenta (depending on where it's from), but the texture is uniformly juicy, slightly crunchy and speckled with tiny edible seeds — much like a kiwi.
