We've simplified the prep for the classic French combo of salmon and lentils into a few simple steps. All it takes is a quick sear of the prepared salmon cakes, plus a little sautéing for the Brussels sprouts and some microwaving for the lentils.

Heating Instructions
Ingredients:
- 1 cntr. Salmon Cakes
- 1 cntr. Vegetarian Braised Lentils
- 5 oz. Shredded Brussels Sprouts
- 2 oz. Tartar Sauce
- 1 Lemon
- 2 – 4 Garlic Cloves
Heat a large oven-safe pan over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and swirl to coat pan. Once the oil is hot and starts to shimmer, add the salmon patties. Sear the patties until golden brown , approximately 2 – 3 minutes. Flip the salmon patties and place the pan into the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Set your timer and move on to Step 3. 3. Microwave Lentils
Place the lentils into a microwave and heat on high for 2 minutes (1,000-watt or higher) or 2 ½ minutes (lower wattage). Let stand for 1 minute before carefully removing the plastic from the container. 4. Check Salmon Cakes and Sauté Brussels Sprouts
Once the timer is complete, remove the salmon cakes from the oven and check that they are cooked through*. Transfer the salmon cakes to a plate. Wipe the pan with a paper towel and place over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot and starts to shimmer, add the smashed garlic cloves. Cook the garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds (do not brown) , then add the shredded brussels sprouts. Cook the brussels sprouts until wilted and lightly caramelized. Season with salt and lemon juice to taste. 5. Plate and Serve
Divide the lentils and brussels sprouts evenly between two plates. Place the salmon cakes over the lentils. Squeeze the lemon over the salmon and brussels sprouts for added zing and serve with tartar sauce. *The USDA recommends cooking fish to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F.

Standard PackagingA Styrofoam tray that is sealed in plastic — rigid enough to stack in the fridge, and free of charge. Meat in standard packaging is best when eaten within 3 days (stored at a refrigerator temperature of 38 degrees). For optimal freezing we recommend vacuum packaging.

Vacuum PackagingThis sturdy, airtight plastic pouch will protect and prolong the life of your order. It is perfect for freezing. With the seal intact, vacuum-packed meat will keep for up to 9 months in your freezer. For your convenience, each roast is individually vacuum packed; when meat is sold as a chop, steak or by the pound, your meat will be vacuum-packed based on minimum quantity. For example, if the minimum quantity of chops is two, your chops will arrive in vacuum-packs of two.
NOTE: Always check the "use or freeze by" date on your product label.
ESTIMATED WEIGHT
While shopping, and prior to day of your delivery, you will see in your cart an estimated weight and price for variable weight items which are priced by the pound.
