This recipe is inspired by lahmacun, a Turkish bread topped with savory bits of ground beef. Here, we've provided a flatbread from our friends at Brooklyn Mills, which gets baked in the oven until toasty. It's accompanied on the side by a cool shepherd's salad with fresh herbs and feta cheese.

From Your Pantry:
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Brooklyn Mills Flatbread
- 7 oz. Ground Beef Mix
- 1 cntr. Shepherd’s Salad
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 pkt. Mint
- 1 pkt. Parsley
- 1 Lemon
2. Prepare Pizza
Place the flatbread onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread the ground beef mix evenly onto the flatbread with a spoon. 3. Bake Pizza
Bake the pizza for 10 minutes or until the meat is cooked through*. Set your timer and move on to Step 4. 4. Prepare Salad
Transfer the shepherd’s salad to a medium bowl. Thinly slice ½ of the red onion and add it to the bowl (you will have extra). Zest the lemon over the sliced onions. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the onions. Wash and dry the herbs. Pick the herb leaves and discard the stems. Add the whole leaves to the bowl. Toss the salad making sure to break up the feta in the process. Season with salt and a light drizzle of extra virgin olive oil to taste. 5. Check Pizza, Plate, and Serve
Once the timer is complete, remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle the pizza with extra virgin olive oil. Slice into as many pieces as you like. Spread the salad over the pizza. *The USDA recommends cooking ground meats to a minimum internal temperature of 160°F.

Standard PackagingA Styrofoam tray that is sealed in plastic — rigid enough to stack in the fridge, and free of charge. Meat in standard packaging is best when eaten within 3 days (stored at a refrigerator temperature of 38 degrees). For optimal freezing we recommend vacuum packaging.
Vacuum PackagingThis sturdy, airtight plastic pouch will protect and prolong the life of your order. It is perfect for freezing. With the seal intact, vacuum-packed meat will keep for up to 9 months in your freezer. For your convenience, each roast is individually vacuum packed; when meat is sold as a chop, steak or by the pound, your meat will be vacuum-packed based on minimum quantity. For example, if the minimum quantity of chops is two, your chops will arrive in vacuum-packs of two.
NOTE: Always check the "use or freeze by" date on your product label.
While shopping, and prior to day of your delivery, you will see in your cart an estimated weight and price for variable weight items which are priced by the pound.
