Looking to roast a home-cooked Thanksgiving turkey with some chef shortcuts thrown in? Our oven-ready turkey is rubbed with our chef's divine herb butter and come nestled on a bed of our mixed veggie mirepoix of carrots, onion, and celery with fragrant garlic cloves, fresh sage, and sprigs of thyme. The bird arrives in an aluminum pan ready to slide into the oven—just add salt and pepper to taste. Our deliciously tender and juicy turkeys are humanely raised without antibiotics.

Our oven-ready turkey comes fully prepped and ready for you to cook in your oven. Allow approximately 3 hours total time from pre-heating your oven to slicing your fully-cooked bird.
To Get Started:
Adjust oven racks, placing one on the bottom shelf and one on the top shelf. Preheat oven to 350°F (about 15 minutes).
While the oven is pre-heating, take your turkey out of the refrigerator and remove the pan from the plastic bag. Discard the bag and the parchment paper covering the bird. Leave the plastic band around the legs intact for easier handlingremove before carving.
Add 1 cup of water or stock to the bottom of the pan. Season your bird to taste with salt and pepper.
To Cook Your Turkey:
Place the turkey pan in the oven on the bottom rack. Set timer for 1 hour and 30 minutes. When timer goes off, check your bird and baste if desired with pan juices. At this point you should begin to see slight browning. If the pan looks dry, add a bit more liquid to the bottom.
Continue to cook the turkey for an additional 45 - 50 minutes, basting once or twice as desired. Cover with foil toward the end of cooking if it starts getting too browned. To check for doneness, insert the instant-read thermometer that came with your bird into both the thickest part of the breast and the joint between the leg and the thigh. When both places register at least 165° your turkey is cooked.
Allow to Rest and Slice:
Remove your turkey from the oven and tent loosely with foil. Allow to rest for 20 minutes before slicing and serving. For added moistness, spoon pan juices over sliced turkey before serving. Enjoy!

ABOUT OUR PACKAGING
Standard PackagingA Styrofoam tray that is sealed in plastic — rigid enough to stack in the fridge, and free of charge. Meat in standard packaging is best when eaten within 3 days (stored at a refrigerator temperature of 38 degrees). For optimal freezing we recommend vacuum packaging.
Vacuum PackagingThis sturdy, airtight plastic pouch will protect and prolong the life of your order. It is perfect for freezing. With the seal intact, vacuum-packed meat will keep for up to 9 months in your freezer. For your convenience, each roast is individually vacuum packed; when meat is sold as a chop, steak or by the pound, your meat will be vacuum-packed based on minimum quantity. For example, if the minimum quantity of chops is two, your chops will arrive in vacuum-packs of two.
NOTE: Always check the "use or freeze by" date on your product label.
While shopping, and prior to day of your delivery, you will see in your cart an estimated weight and price for variable weight items which are priced by the pound. On the day of your delivery, your actual variable items are prepared by weighing each item to determine the final price you see on your receipt. Please note that actual weight will vary from the estimated weight due to seasonality, source, and country of origin.
