Wild King Salmon on a Cedar Plank
Please note: Due to this salmon's delicate flesh, we do NOT scale the fish or remove the pin bones. We recommend removing the pin bones after cooking.
If you've never tried grilling salmon on a cedar plank, you've been missing out! We've already done the trimming and seasoning. Just plunk our plank-mounted fillets directly onto your outdoor grill. In mere moments, you'll taste the smoky, outdoorsy flavors imparted by charred cedar... you might just fall in love with salmon all over again.

Cedar-Plank Preparation: IMPORTANT!
Planks are for outdoor grilling only, not for indoor cooking.
Grilling Instructions: Remove salmon from packaging and center fillet(s) skin side down on soaked plank, avoiding the edges. If using a marinade or glaze, brush on fillet. Place plank on outdoor grill at medium heat. Close grill lid and cook salmon until center is opaque in color and flaky, about 15 minutes. FDA recommends heating fish to a minimum of 145°F. If flare-ups occur, reduce grill heat. When cooking is complete, carefully remove plank from grill and transfer to a heat-proof platter for service.

Standard PackagingA Styrofoam tray that is sealed in plastic — rigid enough to stack in the fridge, and free of charge. Meat in standard packaging is best when eaten within 3 days (stored at a refrigerator temperature of 38 degrees). For optimal freezing we recommend vacuum packaging.
Vacuum PackagingThis sturdy, airtight plastic pouch will protect and prolong the life of your order. It is perfect for freezing. With the seal intact, vacuum-packed meat will keep for up to 9 months in your freezer. For your convenience, each roast is individually vacuum packed; when meat is sold as a chop, steak or by the pound, your meat will be vacuum-packed based on minimum quantity. For example, if the minimum quantity of chops is two, your chops will arrive in vacuum-packs of two.
NOTE: Always check the "use or freeze by" date on your product label.
While shopping, and prior to day of your delivery, you will see in your cart an estimated weight and price for variable weight items which are priced by the pound. On the day of your delivery, your actual variable items are prepared by weighing each item to determine the final price you see on your receipt.
