Description
Mild-mannered eats have nothing on our chef's feisty Kung Pao Shrimp. It's the perfect balance of juicy jumbo shrimp, whole peanuts and fresh vegetables — crunchy celery and water chestnuts, bright red peppers, scallions and zucchini. With a final kick from our Kung Pao marinade, we recommend you keep a pint of cold beer on stand-by.Claims- Low Calorie

Remove the sauce cup from the vegetable container and set aside. Our chef recommends using a 10-12" non-stick sauté pan or wok. Heat the pan for 2 minutes over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the hot pan. Add the shrimp to the pan in a single layer; sear for 2 minutes (or until golden brown). Turn the pieces over and cook through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and reserve. Add the vegetables and cook 2-3 minutes or until al dente. Return the shrimp to the pan; add the peanuts and the sauce. Toss to coat all ingredients and cook for 1 minute more. Serve and enjoy!

Explanatory Information
About our Heat Index: We've developed this Heat Index to give you an approximation of how spicy a particular dish tastes. Keep in mind that people tolerate chili heat in very different ways, so this scale may not reflect your individual experience with a dish.* NO HEAT There's no heat here — safe for the kids. MINOR HEAT Expect no more than a little tingle on the tongue. SUBTLE HEAT One might describe this dish as "peppery." MEDIUM HEAT A spicy warmth that builds as you eat and lingers a while. STRONG HEAT This dish has kick — keep a cool beverage on hand. FIERY HEAT Your eyes will water. Your nose will run. You've been warned. *Note for sensitive palates: Heat ratings are never guaranteed! Due to unpredictable environmental variations that range from rainfall to chance genetic changeability, chili spice often differs. Even two identical-looking jalapeños can pack two very different heat levels.
