Description
Graves, the rocky sub-region of Bordeaux, is steeped in history and home to Château Haut-Brion, the crown jewel of the wine world and prized possession of die-hard Claret collectors. Seldom do similar bottles command real-world prices, so we had to share this gem as soon as we got our hands on it. Château le Pavillon de Boyrein is old-school, traditional Bordeaux, featuring dense, dark fruit aromas and subtle wet-earth and clay undertones. For a truly Bordelaise experience try it with roast chicken, rosemary potatoes, and garlicky green beans.
