Proudly bearing the founders name, this flagship wine from Emilio Moro is produced from vines ranging between fifteen to twenty five years of age. It undergoes a twenty eight day skin maceration followed by twelve months of aging in French and American oak barrels before bottling.
Dark cherry-red in color, the nose is complex with a strong base of black and blueberries, in perfect integration with the sweet notes of wood, chocolate and coffee that provide complexity and harmony to the whole. The mouth is silky and balanced with a large presence that envelops the palate with a persistent aftertaste. This is a classic example of Ribera del Duero and an excellent value. (from the vintner)
