Joel Gott Cabernet Sauvignon 815 has aromatics of roasted blue fruit, sweet blackberry, and cherry cola, with hints of graham cracker and vanilla. The wine enters with dark, concentrated fruit on the palate, velvety tannins on the mid-palate, followed by a long, vibrant finish. Perfect for hearty meat dishes, this versatile Cabernet will brighten any meal of steak, game, lamb, or duck.
Each appellation we source fruit from in California is chosen for what it gives to the wine. Sourcing from varied regions across California helps to create an elegant, balanced wine. After harvest, fruit from each vineyard is sorted and destemmed before being fermented into individual lots. The lots are aged for a year-and-a-half in oak and tasted frequently for tannin and flavor development. Finally, the lots are blended to balance the characteristics of each vineyard.
