Sangiovese, the backbone of Morellino, demonstrates power and elegance. Small percentages of Alicante, Merlot and Cabernet lend lushness. Dark intense purple color. Complex spicy and mineral notes lead to fruity aromas, round body, light acidic note. Nice balsamic nose finish. (from the vintner)
