The Laroche family of Domaine de la Meuliere have been producing great Chablis since 1780. Today, they are one of the five remaining producers still harvesting their grapes by hand.
Their Chablis vineyards extends over the limestone slopes that create the unique mineral character of Chablis wines. Clear, fresh and light with an expressive nose of ripe fruits, flowers and flint. The mouth is well rounded with refreshing acidity and great mineral notes with a hint of smoke. A great aperitif, this Chablis is a superb accompaniment to oysters, shellfish, and seafood, but also pork, goat cheeses and gruyère. (from the vintner)
