Tequila Herradura is one of the oldest and most respected tequila producers. Since 1870 Herradura has been producing in one of Mexico's most historic distilleries, on the premises of a 19th century Hacienda in Amatitan, Jalisco.
Herradura Tequilas are 100% blue agave and 100% natural made using traditional methods, such as cooking the agave in clay ovens and fermenting naturally with wild yeast.
The silver is aged for 45 days in oak barrels to bring out more flavor. This light straw colored tequila has robust aromas full of fruit and cooked agave pulling in vanilla and slightly woody notes from the barrel. On the palate distinctly sweet agave notes are mellowed slightly by oak barrel wood notes before a smooth and clean finish with invigorating warmth. (from the distiller)
