    Looking for a new red for burgers and BBQ? Try this rich and spicy red from the south of France's Roussillon region.

    Jean Pla is based in Saint Paul de Fenouillet, near the Spanish border, where his family has been growing grapes and making wine for generations. Le Renard is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Carignan from very old vines that give concentration and complexity to the finished wine. A round and soft full-bodied wine with smooth complexity and a nice freshness. Pair with creamy cheeses (Camembert), BBQ, meat stews and spaghetti Bolognese. (from the vintner)
