Jean Pla is based in Saint Paul de Fenouillet, near the Spanish border, where his family has been growing grapes and making wine for generations. Le Renard is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Carignan from very old vines that give concentration and complexity to the finished wine. A round and soft full-bodied wine with smooth complexity and a nice freshness. Pair with creamy cheeses (Camembert), BBQ, meat stews and spaghetti Bolognese. (from the vintner)
