Rock Angel is the superb-tasting big brother of the incredibly popular Whispering Angel. This Côtes de Provence Rosé is made from Grenache, Tibouren and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes grown in Chateau d'Esclans vineyard. It gets its name from the vineyard's rocky soil — you can taste the rock minerality in the wine.
The wine has a shiny and transparent pale rosé color. The nose has delicate red berry aromas with mineral notes as well as a touch of floral and spice. Barrel fermentation lends this wine a creamy feel and texture. Rich and racy on the palate with firm acidity with a long and silky finish. This powerful and elegant wine is great before a meal and served with lobster, oyster and fish dishes.
