Description
A classic Provençal, dry rosé that is the perfect warm-weather tipple.
Pigoudet is located in the north of the Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation on an estate that dates back to the 16th century. The grapes are planted on 100 acres of south-facing slopes at 1000 feet of elevation. The Schmidt family fell in love with the property and purchased the estate in 1992 and they've realized their lifelong dream of producing wines using sustainable viticultural practices.
This is a delicately pale pink colored wine with an expressive nose of fresh floral, fruity aromas of white peach, lychee, and citrus. The palate strikes a good balance between acidity and fruit with hints of citrus, peach, melon, and white fruits. It's great as an aperitif or with summer salads, grilled seafood, and charcuterie.
