Founded by Bryan Nolt, this Colorado craft distillery prides itself on the use of Rocky Mountain snowmelt as its blending water. Breckenridge Bourbon has a high-rye mash bill and is aged 2 to 3 years in American white oak barrels.
A deep honey-amber hued whiskey, it offers warm, pronounced aromas of under-ripe banana and brown sugar, with spicy notes of white pepper and toasted sesame. It has a light body with warm texture and a long sweet oak, vanilla finish with a touch of bitterness to balance. Reminiscent of a slice of toasted rye bread with honey drizzled on it.
