The original single barrel bourbon.
Over a century ago, Colonel Albert B. Blanton bottled his private reserve from center-cut of barrels in middle sections of Warehouse H. He personally tasted each barrel and reserved the best for ambassadors, dignitaries, family, and friends. His time honored tradition lives on today as only a handful of barrels from the center of Warehouse H are selected to become Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon.
Blanton's is reddish amber in color, and its creamy vanilla nose features hints of nuts, caramel, dried orange, and light chocolate. The taste profile is full and soft, marked by a mix of burnt sugar, caramel, orange, and cloves. The finish is balanced with notes of vanilla, honey and citrus. Blanton's Original set the standard for single barrel bourbons. Best served neat or on the rocks. (from Blanton's)
