Kistler Vineyards is a small, family winery that produces some of California's very best Chardonnay.
Les Noisetiers is produced in order to illustrate a regional nature of Kistler. It is a combination of specific lots from within Kistler's vineyards in far western Sonoma County. All vineyards are planted with 100% Wente clone on the sandy Goldridge soil series expressing a mineral character, a natural complement to food. The grapes are hand sorted, gently bladder pressed and raised in 100% French oak.
Noisetiers means "hazelnut,"—hints of the noble nut are perceptible in the glass. Kistler marries the best of Burgundy's winemaking with the sun kissed vineyards of California. Notes of apple, lemon-curd and sweet spice waft from the glass. Bursts of bright acidity mingle with richness on the palate, making this a great addition to your dining room table. Enjoy with lobster, grilled salmon, roast chicken, and pasta with rich cheese sauces.
