Sipsmith was born in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Two childhood friends, Fairfax and Sam, and their partner Jared, set up London's first traditional copper distillery for nearly 200 years. Their mission was simple: to bring London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character, back to the city where it first earned its name.
The nose has floral, summer meadow notes, followed by mellow rounded juniper and zesty, citrus freshness. On the palate, dry juniper leads, then reveals lemon tart and orange marmalade, before all the flavors harmonize. Dryness leads on the finish, with spicy juniper and a hint of lemon tart emerging. The quintessential expression of a classic, traditional London Dry Gin. Juniper forward, bold, complex and aromatic — smooth enough for a Martini, yet rich and balanced, perfect for a G&T.
