White Horse Blended Scotch Whisky is named after one of Scotland's famous coaching inns. The White Horse Cellar Inn in Edinburgh was the starting place for the eight-day coach trip to London and a place where friends were always welcome.
This much-lauded historic blend is made with 40% single malt; it is famous for including Lagavulin as one of its key components. This pleasant whisky has a honeyed palate with peaty undertones, hints of fruit and notes of barley malt leading into a long, complex finish with creamy notes. (from White Horse)
