In 1922 in the town of Arandas in Jalisco, Mexico, Don Jose Maria Bañuelos saw a stag amidst the red clay and tall blue agave. He decided to use this prideful confident symbol for his smooth, bold highland tequila which he named Cazadores — the hunters.
Cazadores is still made using the same family recipe. The Reposado is distilled from 100% Blue Agave and rests for over two months in new, small, American white oak casks. Aging in new oak casks creates a unique Reposado Tequila that is rich in agave, woody, vanilla, citrus and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Excellent in cocktails or sipped neat. (from Cazadores)
