Provence is home to some of the oldest vineyards in France and the soils of this estate dates back over 800 million years. To maintain the heritage of the land, Léoube believes in time-honored artisan farming, following biodynamic principles.
The vineyard is overseen by Romain Ott — the third generation of the famous Provence wine making family and an expert in his field. The grapes are all harvested by hand in tune with the seasonal and lunar cycles, and the estate is certified organic. All of the wines are made using natural yeasts, which ferment slowly in temperature controlled cellars.
Nothing is added or taken away during the winemaking process. The result is wine that is vibrant, well balanced, fresh, and full of character, while remaining true to the terroir. This is a quintessential, dry Provence Rosé style. Pale pink with attractive fruity notes of strawberry and white peach, it has fine overall balance. Drink anytime as an aperitif or with Mediterranean food. (from the vintner)
