Description
Located in the Grossriedenthal area of Austria's Wagram region, the Bauer family can trace their lineage back to 1796. Since taking over the estate in 2001, Josef has transformed it into one of the best producers of the region by adopting organic practices.
Bauer's rosé is made from grape vines ranging between 10-40 years of age and cultivated from various sites in the Niederösterreich. Even their entry-level rosé is aged for six months before release. The aim is to produce a fresh and friendly rosé with bright fruit and clean acidity that complement a variety of savory and spicy foods. (from the vintner)
