Guy and Cédric Allion of Domaine du Vaux St. Georges have their vineyards on the exposed slopes of the Cher River's right bank in the Loire Valley's Touraine Appellation. The clay and limestone soils are embedded with flint which is known as Perruches in the area. These flint deposits give their wines their trademark crisp minerality. The wine is fermented on its own yeast for a month before resting on its lees until the next spring. These traditional techniques make this such a seductive and exciting wine.
An elegant and aromatic white with great freshness, crisp minerality, and citrus fruit notes are held in delicate balance before a long mouthwatering finish.
