    This tropical cocktail is an extra-fruity twist on the Spanish sangria. Whether served at a weekend brunch or an at-home tapas party, this sangria will sweeten up any cocktail hour.


    Two bottles white wine
    Cored pineapple
    2 navel oranges
    2 limes
    1 package of strawberries (16 oz)
    1 cinnamon stick
    Plain or flavored seltzer or Sprite

    Print recipe

    Prepare wine and fruit the night before serving. Add two bottles of sweet white wine to a pitcher. Cut cored pineapple and strawberries into very small chunks. Peel oranges, trim off white skin, and cut into small chunks. Add fruit and their juices into the pitcher. Zest 2 limes and add zest and lime juice to the mixture. Add 1 cinnamon stick.

    Let pitcher refrigerate over night. Before serving, add seltzer or Sprite to taste. If more sweetness is desired, add orange juice to the mixture.

    Serve in wine glasses with cubes of ice and lime wedges for garnish.
